Hello, my name is Jungwon Huh from Saipan International School, and I’m honored to serve as the President of the Saipan Green Heroes Club. Our club was founded with the goal of raising awareness about climate change and educating students on how they can contribute to a healthier planet. We believe that teaching younger students about environmental issues in a fun and engaging way is crucial for creating a sustainable future. With short presentations, activities, and creative projects like art, recycling, and imagination, we aim to inspire the next generation of climate leaders. I will try my best to support our club, Thank you!

Hello everyone! I’m Yewon Huh, a 9th grader, and I’m the Secretary for SGH (Saipan Green Heroes). SGH is a club created to raise awareness about climate change and its impact on our world. We teach students from different schools through easy-to-understand presentations and exciting activities like building recycled toys. We’ve partnered with schools like SDA, SIS, Brilliant Star, and Garpan Elementary, and it’s been such a great opportunity for us. Working with these schools has truly influenced us, and personally, it has helped me a lot with feeling more confident speaking in front of an audience. Not just for me, but also for our other members, I believe being part of this club has been an amazing experience, helping us share the importance of how climate change could impact our world. Being part of this club has also been a great opportunity because it’s helped us understand more deeply and seriously the crucial issues that are happening in our world right now.

Hello, my name is James Xiong and i got to Saipan International School, and I’ll be the treasurer SGH. SGH is a student led club, which we aim to teach younger one why global warming is important. We’ve worked together with Saipan International School, Brilliant Star Montessori School, Seven Days Adventist, and Garapan Elementary School. It was such a great opportunity for both the kids and us. I believe getting those extra CAS hours isn’t important, but getting the kids actually to know and understand why global warning is dangerous is the main key. This club help me improve in my public speaking, and help me to learn how to corporate with kids. We are to make this club big and to partner up with new school, and past schools we have worked together.
